Beginning with registration for Spring 2012, some course sections will be offering a waitlist that students can sign upwardly for via AppalNet once the section is closed. The purpose of waitlisting is to let students the power to more easily monitor courses they demand that are airtight every bit opposed to frequently checking back on AppalNet. Waitlisting will non exist available for every course and beingness on a waitlist for a department does non guarantee the student will get a seat in that class.

Instructions for Waitlisting a Closed Department

  1. Detect that a closed course section has a waitlist tied to it past the waitlist 'Chapters', 'Actual', and 'Remainder' columns:
